Sunflowers

This year I wanted to play more with sunflowers. I have different kinds of sunflowers growing in Kumpula by Vihreän Oksan Werstas. Sat 22- Sun 23.8. I will have open doors at my workspace in Vallila, Helsinki and I will have these sunflowers with friends there. These flowers grow about two kilometres from the workspace so they are close. Sunflowers are heavy built flowers so they take their place in flower arrangement. You also need quite big or heavy vase to design. I love brownish tones and muted colors, do you?

Here in my journal I share things and thoughts that are intriguing my mind at the moment as an artist.

I photograph flowers, plants and mushrooms at my workspace in natural light. I design all the floral works and when the work is ready I push the button. No AI.
