For couple of years I’ve been thinking about Hyacinths
To find a right plant or flower to my photography might take a little bit time, I mean years in this case.
Hyacinths are quite straight and the appearance is a bit heavy if you know what I mean. So yesterday I felt pure joy when I found right color and shape from the X-mas flower leftovers in Pukinmäen Puutarha. This color was perfect.
You can also see little details like the shape of tiny flower. Perfect flower is not often the most interesting flower to photograph.
I know it is already January but now I have a photo for X-mas 2025. Early bird one must be.

Here in my journal I share things and thoughts that are intriguing my mind at the moment as an artist.

I photograph flowers, plants and mushrooms at my workspace in natural light. I design all the floral works and when the work is ready I push the button. No AI.
