Getting older is a process you must accept (sometimes very hard !) But it is also a privilege (super happy to be alive !)
Even though the mirror image is changing and I get more wrinkles, I gain something very special and unique.
I get life experience and for me this has meant more clarity and peace of mind. Nowadays I am super happy when my mundane days have little silver lining like good coffee in the morning, Haruki or Tove's purrr, my husband has made dinner and pleasant working days. I love to be at home with my family, husband and cats.
My life is not what I thought it would be, I have had to let go of a lot of things I really wanted but learnt also that letting go is a necessary to save my mental health. Working with flowers has helped me in my journey and bottom line is that I hope these flowers help you too,

Here in my journal I share things and thoughts that are intriguing my mind at the moment as an artist.
They can vary a lot and I don’t have a script or plan for the next post. These are thoughts about materials, ingredients, process, light, zeitgeist, ideas - what ever comes to my mind as an artist. This is about the process and you get to hear things “behind the scenes”.
I photograph flowers, plants and mushrooms at my workspace in natural light. I design all the floral works and when the work is ready I push the button. No AI.
